A magnificent house. You wouldn’t expect this small mountain village to hold so many wonders. Despite its simple appearance, this house has a beautiful history, and you can see how wealthy people used to live in those times. It is truly beautiful; I was surprised by the dinner set with its fine porcelain, more befitting of a Palace.

La Farga Rossell
We had never heard about it before but it looks just as it did back when it was a full-functional forge. A very fun and enjoyable museum, the children will love the demonstration.

Iron Route
This is a 4 or 8-km-long route, depending on whether you go one way or both. We took two cars and parked one of them at la Cortinada and the other one at Llorts. Once in Llorts, we started from the Llorts mine and went all the way down to la Cortinada, following the Valira d’Orient river. The whole route was a delight, easy and perfect for children.

Sant Martí de la Cortinada
A beautiful church, a must-see if you visit la Cortinada. It is characterized by its stone construction and its location.
