The church of Sant Climent de Pal still maintains part of its original 11^th and 12^th-century Romanesque elements, despite later modifications. It has a rectangular floor plan and a square apse from the late 17^th and early 18^th centuries, as the original Romanesque apse (probably semi-circular) has not been preserved.

The temple is accessed through a porch, built in the 20^th century by architect Cèsar Martinell, featuring a semi-circular arch with a saw tooth decoration. Once inside, the Lombard Romanesque bell tower can be accessed through the side of the apse. The bell tower features double mullioned windows, quite atypical in small bell towers such as this, which makes them a unique element in Andorran valleys.
