Sant Miquel de la Mosquera is the most active church in the parish of Encamp. It is mentioned for the first time in 1611; the temple was therefore probably built by the end of the 16th century and enlarged and renovated during the 18th century. It can be linked to the town of la Mosquera in the 18th century, as it had the highest number of believers among the five areas that make up the parish.
