The museum operated from 2003 until January 2022. It has been converted into a virtual museum.
This museum was an iconic early 20th-century building that housed the old Reig tobacco factory of Sant Julià de Lòria, which functioned from 1909 to 1957, at a time when the cultivation and fabrication of tobacco were fundamental in the lives of the people of Andorra.
A multimedia system guided the visitor through the factory and explained the many processes in the manufacture and commercialization of tobacco products.
The museum contained many tools, machines, furniture and scents used in tobacco factories during the first half of the 20th century.
