Built in 1938, this historical building was the first broadcasting centre for Radio Andorra, the Spanish radio that broadcast from the Principality until the 1980s. Legend says that the songs that were dedicated during World War Two were in fact coded messages. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, both Radio Andorra and its presenters, known as the Mesdemoiselles Aquí, became a phenomenon. This historical building was bought by the Andorran Government at a symbolic price and became part of the national heritage, with a collection of 200.000 discs in various formats.
