The creation of the postal system in Andorra is linked to the country’s most recent history, and has contributed to the transformation of the way of life in our valleys. From muleteers and wayfarers to postmen and the new communication technologies, the post system has evolved according to the various needs of society, and has equipped itself with more efficient means to carry messages. Andorra has the particularity of not having its own postal services and instead uses those of its neighboring countries, Spain (Correos) and France (La Poste), which issue Andorran-themed stamps every year.
In the same way that communications evolve over time, the Museum Postal has also evolved and has transformed from physical to digital.
