With the ambition of becoming a cultural landmark, the exhibitions organised within this space adhere to a curatorial vision committed to showcasing the work of internationally acclaimed figures in contemporary art and established Andorran artists. Over the past 30 years, the Government Exhibition Hall has showcased works by world-famous artists such as Vivian Maier, ORLAN, Joan Fontcuberta, Victor Vasarely, Alexander Calder, Laurence Jenkell, Salvador Dalí, Marc Chagall, Andy Warhol, Amadeo Modigliani, Joan Brossa, Käthe Kollwitz, Bernard Buffet and Dennis Hopper, among others. It has also featured Andorran artists such as Javier Balmaseda, Judit Gaset and Pep Aguareles.
This is further complemented by exhibitions such as Notes on the Anthropocene, Solidarity Alphabet and The School of the Juberri Gardens, thematic group exhibitions aimed at generating reflection and critical thinking on topics, artistic movements and contemporary trends.
Since the last decade of the 20th century, the Government Exhibition Hall has occupied various locations. The current facility was finally inaugurated in Andorra la Vella's Central Park in March 2022, the result of a collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Andorra la Vella Municipal Council.
The Cultural Action Area of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is responsible for curating the exhibitions and managing the facility.
