The original 12th-century church was enlarged in the 16th century. Its Romanesque mural paintings were sold in the early 20th century, but the temple still contains gothic and baroque paintings. Saint Christopher is the patron saint of automobiles, and every 10th of July the church holds a blessing ceremony for all vehicles which has been declared a festivity of cultural interest.
