This exhibition features the patrimonial collection of Casa Rossell, one of the wealthiest and most important houses of Ordino and of the country, documented since the 15th century.

Documented since the 15th century, Casa Rossell has been one of the most important houses of Andorra both on an economic and political scale, along with Casa d’Areny-Plandolit, as they were among the great owners of land, cattle or forges. Casa Rossell has also given birth to many distinguished public figures, such as Antoni Fiter i Rossell (1706-1748) – author of the Manual Digest (1748).

Many objects of great cultural value have made it to our days; they range from the 17th century to the 20th and they are the testimony of the family’s wealth and importance. The importance of these objects lies in their quality and diversity: furniture, everyday objects, religious objects, coins, book and documents, clothes, jewels, fans...

This exhibition is structured around various aspects of life in Casa Rossell, symbolically represented by the objects and organized in thematic settings.
